This OPEN MIC on DECEMBER 8th makes me really haPPy on a lot of levels, and also because it means I'm actually feeling well enough to do something like this again. "December 8th Ladies Night Open Mic (A Co-Ed Event)
Starting at 8pm

FORMAT: The first two hours are dedicated to the Ladies, 8-10pm. They play first, and are backed-up and supported by the men. The ladies have the choice to have accompaniment or perform solo. Men can accompany during this time, (on guitar, keyboards, or drums, for example). Please keep in mind that many ladies who perform at this Open Mic have children, and need to get home earlier than others, and the 8pm start-time is helpful and why we are starting at that time. We recognize that this is a special night out for them, and we do our best to accommodate that. After 10pm, it's a free-for-all; men, women, and/or combo of both are invited & encouraged to perform. The time slots will be 10-15 minutes, depending on the amount of people. The goal is to let everyone perform that wants to. We are working on having it videoed and we might even live-stream it. If you are interested in helping out with this, please let Holly know.
