They want to know if I'm still drinking. NOT THAT IT'S ANY OF THEIR BUSINESS, BUT NO, I stoPPed DRINKING ALCOHOL 18 MONTHS AGO & I DON'T MISS IT. I didn't make an 'official announcement' about it, OK? It's not my first time with this, and alcoholism is in my family on both sides. I was using beer a lot to self-medicate the huge amount of emotional pain I was dealing with, and one morning I woke UP and knew that it was trying to fucking kill me. I know the Spirit of Alcohol very well, but I had to tell that Spirit that I'm actually stronger than it, that it doesn't get to kill me, and then prayed for the obsession to drink to be removed. That's how you do it--PRAY for the obsession to drink alcohol be removed if you want to stop drinking it-- it's 'AA 101'. I'm not going to AA meetings, and please don't bother me about doing so.
